Heungkong Charitable Foundation Worked with the Youth Committee of Shenzhen Harmony Club to Help Autistic Children in Guangzhou

On July 28, jointly with the Youth Committee of Shenzhen Harmony Club, Heungkong Charitable Foundation organized and held a charitable event of “Hand in Hand to Move Forward” in Guangzhou helping autistic children, which established a linkage platform by enabling emotional exchanges among different groups of people, delivered encourages and cares to guardians of autistic children to help them move forward together with the cared, and motivated more people to care disadvantaged groups in the society. Liu Gensen, chairman of Heungkong Financial Holdings Group, vice chairman of Heungkong Charitable Foundation and chairman of the Youth Committee of Shenzhen Harmony Club, Lai Junlin, executive vice chairman of the Youth Committee of Shenzhen Harmony Club, Liu Qiuyan, secretary-general of Heungkong Charitable Foundation and member of the Youth Committee of Shenzhen Harmony Club, Chen Shanglin, secretary-general of the Youth Committee of Shenzhen Harmony Club, and members of the Youth Committee of Shenzhen Harmony Club including Chen Yu, Zhao Weiying, Zhao Jianwei, Zhao Weien, Zhao Weiting, Tu Xueming, Guo Siyi, Wen Yilin, Zhou Zhongshan, Ou Jiahao and their family members and friends participated in the event.  

In the event, volunteers played one-to-one games with autistic children, made dumplings together and planted micro landscapes. At the end of the event, volunteers gave their exquisitely prepared gifts as well as their blessings to the children. We hope the children could feel the care from strangers, and expect the children will plant the seeds of love in their hearts so that they and their families would integrate into society as soon as possible.

Through the event, young volunteers harvested deep experiences, and they said they would carry forward the entrepreneurship spirit of their parents by taking up social responsibilities and delivering positive energy to the society. They wish they could do their bits by participating in the event, and call for more people in the society to care about the community of autistic children and deliver hopes with their love.
