Heung Kong's “Unicorn Field” Accelerator Named as the 2017 Microsoft Innovation Ecology Partner

On January 19, Microsoft (China) Co., Ltd. held the Microsoft 2018 Innovation Ecology Partner Conference - “Innovative Ecology and Smart Future” in Horinger New District of Inner Mongolia.

Representatives from 50 operators of Microsoft “Cloud & Mobile Technology Incubation Program” in 24 regions across China and delegates from the Microsoft Innovation Center met in Horinger New District to exchange and share experiences and integrate strengths and resources among them.

It is worthy to note that Heung Kong's “Unicorn Field” Accelerator was named as the 2017 Microsoft Innovation Ecology Partner. 

In addition, Feng Jianlin, CEO of Heung Kong's Unicorn Field described how the Microsoft incubation platform could be aligned with national strategies more precisely by taking the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as an example. 

The Microsoft Cloud & Mobile APP Incubation Program is a cooperation program launched by Microsoft in joint efforts with Chinese local governments and local operation partners starting in 2015. The program is designed to make full use of Microsoft’s technical and platform advantages in cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and mixed reality, carry out cooperation in talent development, industry incubation, construction of basic cloud platforms based on local conditions and development needs, and facilitate local economic development and talent growth by actively pushing forward in-depth fusion of “Internet +” and “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”.

Heung Kong's Unicorn Field Accelerator is Microsoft's first incubation platform in Guangzhou that targets at artificial intelligence. Teams under incubation have access to entrepreneurship and innovation supports provided by Microsoft on the platform: in addition to technical training, services and market from Microsoft as well as industry supports, Microsoft technical software packages worthy up to RMB 300,000 are available, including Microsoft Azure cloud cognitive service and Azure IOT suit.
